If you were me and I was you

If you were me and I was you, Would we see what the other saw? Would we feel the soil between our feet just as the other had before? And would our noses prefer some thing else; the scent of the swaying flowers valued less than cress? Or would I feel trapped; a soul with the wrong body? If you were me and I was you, Would I feel what you do?

The Tyger

Who made thee who rules the land?

Who made thee who strides around?

Who ignited thy flame inside,

Unknown to human eyes.

Who picked the a fiery orange,

And planted thee in a dark forest?

Who made the ride alone,

Along a dark and dreary road?

How could thee be of divine creation?

A savior for our nation,

Did thy who made thee have a pure heart?

Did thy who blessed thee come from above?

Who would thy be if they trusted,

This beautiful beast,

Ruthless all around,

Hidden in the shadows,

Lurking around.
